Cost of college went down for all students at The Salon Professional Academy-Onalaska

Tuition and fees fell 0.7 percent for 2018-19 at The Salon Professional Academy-Onalaska, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Wisconsin students paid $19,900 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $150 less than the $20,050 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 85 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 18 students received grants or scholarships totaling $83,349 and 28 students took out student loans totaling more than $186,419.

Including all undergraduates (64), 57 students used grants or scholarships totaling $328,438, and 64 students took out $581,273 in federal student loans.
