New Ace Hardware store opening in Ellsworth, 'We look forward to becoming a helpful, valuable neighbor'

Waltz Ace Hardware in Ellsworth will celebrate its grand opening April 8-10.

Located at 137 E Main St., the new Ellsworth hardware store intends to bring a "personal, knowledgeable and helpful experience" to the community, according to an Ace Hardware press release.

“Our mission is to provide customers with the neighborly advice and assistance they have come to expect from Ace,” Waltz Ace Hardware said. “We look forward to becoming a helpful and valuable neighbor to the community, both inside and outside the walls of our store.”

The release states that the store will be equipped with thousands of hardware products and supplies.

"The store has been designed to reflect the needs of the Ellsworth community, including solutions to everyday home maintenance needs, as well as an extensive array of high-quality products in categories such as paint, lawn and garden," Ace officials said in the release.

Some well-known brand names that customers will see in the store include Yeti, Scotts, STIHL, Big Green Egg, Milwaukee, Ben Moore, Traeger and Weber.

"The store is packed with thousands of essential products and supplies, including some of the most respected brand names and best-selling items to help people take care of their homes," Ace officials said, according to the press release. "Key product offerings include paint, lawn and garden, hardware, electrical, plumbing, automotive and home décor."

Ace has been around for 90 years, according to the release.

The release also states that the company is headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois.

There are currently 14 U.S. company distribution centers, per the release.
