Wisconsin Congresswoman Greta Neubauer is doing all she can to make sure good health is a part of this holiday season.

“Make sure you stay healthy this holiday season by ordering your five free COVID-19 tests,” Neubauer posted on Twitter.

To that end, Neubauer is urging residents to take advantage of the state’s expanding “Say Yes! Covid Test" program, with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporting residents can now order as many as five COVID tests per household per month through the program.

With the tests being free of charge, recipients can also have them directly delivered to their homes. The program has now been in operation for roughly three months, kicking into overdrive around the same time that the government ended its free testing program.

“With the holidays coming up, we want to give Wisconsinites the tools they need to safely celebrate with their loved ones,” Department Health Services Secretary-designee Karen Timberlake told the Journal-Sentinel. “These free self-tests are delivered right to the door, allowing people to take a COVID-19 test at home and make decisions that will keep those around them safe.”

Tests can be ordered on the SayYesCovidHomeTest.org website, or by calling 211 or 877-947-2211. Tests can also be secured by purchasing them at local retail stores or pharmacies, using health insurances or Medicaid, or online by visiting local testing sites.

To date, the program has sent out 760,000 rapid antigen tests to 152,000 households, with the overall number of tests distributed growing to more than 1 million when the numbers from schools, health departments and shelters are added.
