Cost of college went up for all students at Viterbo University

Tuition and fees rose 3.9 percent for 2018-19 at Viterbo University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Wisconsin students paid $27,970 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $820 more than the $27,150 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 286 students received grants or scholarships totaling $5.1 million and 213 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.5 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,598), 1,524 students used grants or scholarships totaling $21.3 million, and 1,208 students took out $9.9 million in federal student loans.
