WASHINGTON, DC – Ahead of this afternoon’s vote on the Limit, Save, Grow Act, Rep. Derrick Van Orden (WI-03) released the following statement:
“I will always stand with the farmers who feed America. I’m glad that elements of my amendment were included in the revised Limit, Save, Grow Act that protect our corn growers and biofuels industry. That is a win for Wisconsin and America.
“Our country is in crisis, and we need leadership. As someone who has led troops in combat, I can attest that Speaker McCarthy has shown incredible leadership, and I’m proud that he is our Speaker. It is time for President Biden to display some leadership himself by coming to the negotiating table.”
