Congressman Derrick Van Orden of Wisconsin's 3rd District has announced his continued commitment to serving on the House Agriculture Committee and the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee for the upcoming 119th Congress. In a statement, Van Orden emphasized his dedication to supporting farmers and veterans, highlighting their importance to both Wisconsin and the nation.

"As long as I remain in Congress, I will continue to serve on the House Agriculture Committee," Van Orden stated. He described farmers as "the backbone of Wisconsin and our nation at large" and expressed his commitment to ensuring they have necessary resources. Reflecting on his previous term, he noted prioritizing communication with farmers and agricultural producers in his district.

Van Orden also highlighted his ongoing role on the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, stating: "As the longest serving enlisted servicemember elected to Congress, I am also proud to continue serving on the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee." He stressed the importance of creating effective solutions for transitioning from active-duty service to veteran status and ensuring veterans receive adequate care and support.

Van Orden reiterated his resolve to be a strong advocate for both farmers and veterans during his tenure in Congress.
