Tomah Health Rehabilitation Services has reported strong performance outcomes for its patients, as revealed by the latest data from Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes (FOTO). According to Tim Kortbein, Director of Rehabilitation Services, and Emily Wall, Rehab Coordinator, patients at Tomah Health are experiencing positive results in a shorter timeframe compared to those in other facilities globally.

The recent FOTO data for the 12 months ending July 2 highlights that Tomah Health ranks in the top 5% internationally for orthopedic wrist/hand patients. The facility also ranks in the top 20% for orthopedic elbow rehabilitation and top 18% for shoulder rehabilitation. Notably, these achievements were accomplished with fewer visits than predicted.

In addition to orthopedic success, Tomah Health's Women's Health/Urinary Incontinence patient outcomes rank in the top 8% internationally. Vertigo patient outcomes are also commendable, placing within the top 25% globally.

The FOTO database encompasses over 4,000 clinics and involves around 20,000 rehab clinicians worldwide. This broad participation underscores the statistical significance of these findings.
