Tomah Health Hospice Touch has received the 2025 Hospice CAHPS Honors Award, marking its eighth consecutive year earning this recognition.
“This award shows the dedication by our staff in providing the highest quality care for our Hospice patients,” said Siera Williams, director of Hospice Touch and Palliative Care. “It’s great recognition for the work our staff is doing.”
The award is determined by results from the Hospice CAHPS survey, covering January to December 2024. To be eligible, hospice agencies must use MatrixCare for survey administration, score above the MatrixCare National Score on the Willingness to Recommend question, and submit at least one complete survey each quarter during the evaluation period. MatrixCare selects recipients based on performance across twenty-four quality indicator measures.
Officials explained that this annual review recognizes agencies delivering high-quality patient care and compassionate caregiver experiences. The selection process analyzes satisfaction and quality data from the Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) surveys.
“I’m very proud of our staff,” Williams added. “We continue to set the standard of excellence for Hospice care, throughout five-county area.”
Hospice Touch and Palliative Care operates from its office at 601 Straw Street in Tomah, serving a 27-mile radius around Tomah.
