Representative Karen Hurd, a Republican serving Wisconsin's 69th House district since her election in 2025, recently shared updates about her participation in local community events through posts on her official Twitter account.

On August 6, 2025, Hurd wrote, “It’s always inspiring to see people doing incredible work to make a difference in the community!”

In another post from the same day, she highlighted a specific event: “The 69th District is home to some great community events. On Saturday, I attended the 70th Annual Chili Fireman's Street Dance. While I was there, it was great to meet Punk Montgomery. She is the organizer of the local Make Their Hearts Smile truck convoy for @MakeAWishWI.”

On August 7, Hurd continued sharing her engagement with constituents: “On Sunday, I swung by the 50th Anniversary Celebration for the Centennial Community Center in Stetsonville. I enjoyed a delicious chicken dinner and some great conversations. It was a pleasure to join the Stetsonville community in celebrating this important milestone.”

Hurd succeeded Donna Rozar as representative of Wisconsin’s 69th House district after winning election in 2025.
