Rep. Derrick Van Orden Press Office posted a series of messages on social media in September 2025, addressing recent incidents involving law enforcement and legislative actions in the U.S. House of Representatives.
On September 18, 2025, the office expressed condolences for fallen officers in Pennsylvania: "We are praying for the families and loved ones of the 3 police officers killed in Pennsylvania, as well as for the 2 officers currently being treated at the hospital. Our men and women in blue are selfless individuals who often put their lives on the line to save others. We are".
The following day, Rep. Van Orden's office acknowledged another member of Congress: "Thank you, @RepTroyNehls, for taking the time to speak on this! https://t.co/MH4x0rWJcT" (September 19, 2025).
Later that day, they commented on a House resolution: "Today, Rep. Van Orden voted to pass a resolution honoring Charlie Kirk's life and condemning political violence. 58 House Democrats voted AGAINST it. Disgraceful. https://t.co/UV0V2sAdXV" (September 19, 2025).
