Raptor Resource Project Director John Howe will present a program about a project to video waterfowl migration on the Mississippi River Flyway at the Wednesday, Oct. 13 Friends of the Black River meeting.
The program will be presented in The Hub meeting room in the Lunda Community Center beginning at 6:30 p.m.The RRP set up a camera on Lake Onalaska in partnership with Upper Mississippi National Fish and Wildlife Refuge, the Brice Prairie Conservation Association, Riverland Energy Co-op and Explore.orgto record the birds using the flyway for migration as well as other animals living along the lake.The program is free and open to the public.
The LCC is located at 405 State Highway 54. Mask wearing is required in the building.The meeting’s programming will also include FBR’s yearend reports as part of the organization’s annual meeting.
