EASTMAN, WI – In case you missed it, on Friday, June 3, Rep. Derrick Van Orden (WI-3) toured eight locks and dams along the Mississippi River to inform his work on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee in the House of Representatives.
Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District has the largest portion of the Mississippi River of any Congressional District in the country. The river and its subsequent lock and dam system is an incredibly critical piece of infrastructure for the economic and national security of the United States – helping send made-in-Wisconsin agricultural products across the country.
