2% of citizens unemployed in Buffalo County in 2021

Buffalo County recorded an unemployment rate of 2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 146 people out of the 13,314 living in Buffalo County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Buffalo County has decreased compared to the 2.1% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Buffalo County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.5%.

Of the 6,999 people who had a job during that time, 6 were employed in the Armed Forces and 6,993 belonged to the civilian labor force.
