There were 1,572 students enrolled in Black River Falls School District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 1.3% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52.7% of them were boys, and 47.3% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 67.8% of the Black River Falls School District total enrollment.

Black River Falls School District covers four schools within Jackson County, with its main office in Black River Falls.

Among the four schools in the Black River Falls School District, Black River Falls High School recorded the highest enrollment of 479 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Nearly 830,000 students were enrolled in Wisconsin schools in the 2021-22 school year. This is a 0.85% decrease from the year before. In sharp contrast to declining public school figures, enrollment in charter schools rose 4.5% to more than 52,000.
