The University of Wisconsin-River Falls will host its annual Homecoming celebration from October 6 to 11, inviting students, alumni, families, and the local community to participate in a series of events on campus and in River Falls.

Alumni Relations Officer Pedro Renta described the event as an opportunity for connection. “Homecoming is a celebration of our shared story — where it all began, the friendships that shaped us and the pride we carry as Falcons,” Renta said. “It’s a weekend filled with joy, memories and Falcon spirit!”

Activities during the week include traditional gatherings such as a home-cooked meal featuring Professor Jake's Bean Soup on Monday at the University Center Terrace. The men's soccer team will play Gustavus on Tuesday evening at Ramer Soccer Field.

On Friday, participants can join a St. Croix River boat cruise departing from Hudson City Pier; tickets are $55 per person and must be reserved online. That evening also features Friends and Family Night with games, activities, and a talent show at several campus locations.

Saturday’s schedule includes the Homecoming Parade along 2nd Street in downtown River Falls starting at 9 a.m., followed by football and women’s soccer games against UW-Platteville at David Smith Stadium and Ramer Soccer Field respectively. The day concludes with an Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet honoring new inductees; registration is required for this event.

A full list of Homecoming events can be found on the university’s student involvement website or by contacting Alumni Relations.
