FOIA Request Sent to Town of Tomah Regarding Voter Registration Records on November 7, 2024

A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the Town of Tomah, Wisconsin, seeking information about new voter registrations on November 7, 2024.

The request, made by WC Wisconsin News, a media organization committed to comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, specifically asked for a list of voters who registered on November 5, 2024. The request was made under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., with a preference for the records in electronic format.

As members of the media at WC Wisconsin News, we are involved in gathering and reporting news to the public.
