FOIA Request to City of Arcadia Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
We at WC Wisconsin News, a media organization committed to comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, have sent a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., for records pertaining to new voter registrations that took place on November 5, 2024.
As an integral part of our journalistic duty, we believe in holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public. Access to such public records is crucial for us to fulfill these responsibilities. Given our role in disseminating information, we have requested a fee waiver as a media professional.
