FOIA Request to Town of Farmington Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability in local government affairs, we at WC Wisconsin News have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., for a list of new voters who registered on November 5, 2024.
This request is part of our efforts to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage about local governmental affairs. Access to public records is crucial for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities, which include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public. As a media organization, we believe we are eligible for a fee waiver.
