FOIA Request to Town of Adams Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024. As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability in local government affairs, we at WC Wisconsin News have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., for a list of new voters who registered on Election Day, November 5, 2024.
As a media organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage, access to public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities. This includes holding public institutions accountable and ensuring transparency for the public. Given our role in disseminating information, we believe we are eligible for a fee waiver as media professionals.
