FOIA Request to Village of Spring Valley Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
In our continuous effort to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at WC Wisconsin News have sent a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., to the Village of Spring Valley. The request was made for a list of new voters who registered to vote on November 5, 2024.
As a media organization committed to holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public, access to these public records is essential for us. It allows us to fulfill our professional responsibilities effectively.
