Tomah Health's rehabilitation services have been recognized for their effectiveness in patient outcomes. According to the latest data from Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes (FOTO), the facility ranks highly compared to others worldwide.
Rehabilitation Services Director Tim Kortbein and Rehab Coordinator Emily Wall shared that Tomah Health patients achieve significant results in a shorter timeframe than those at other facilities globally. "The latest data from Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes (FOTO) for the last 12 months ending Dec. 12, 2024, shows we ranked in the top 5% for wrist/hand patients, in the top 15% internationally for rehab of orthopedic elbow patients and top 10% internationally for shoulder patients …with fewer actual visits for all patients compared to predicted rehab visits," they stated.
Additionally, Tomah Health's women's health and urinary incontinence outcomes are within the top 9% internationally. Vertigo patient outcomes rank in the top 20%, while neurological patient outcomes are within the top 19% worldwide.
The FOTO database comprises data from over 4,000 clinics and approximately 20,000 rehabilitation clinicians globally, providing a robust benchmark for evaluating performance.
