Tomah Health recently received a generous donation of baby supplies from Maximus Aesthetics & Wellness. The contribution was accepted by Tomah Health Women’s Health Director Tammie Schroeder and Women’s Health Staff Development Registered Nurse Logan Larsen on January 2. This donation, which consists of several thousands of dollars' worth of baby diapers and supplies, will support parents and newborns at the facility.

The collection drive was organized by Maximus Aesthetics & Wellness owners Katie Treichel and Ali Rauls, along with Aesthetician Livia Rezin. The initiative began just before Thanksgiving and involved donations from business clients. "We decided to do this rather than a traditional giving tree just to do something different," said Treichel. "I had my baby here in April and had a really great experience, and it inspired me to want to do more to give back to families in need."

Treichel expressed gratitude towards her medical spa clients for their contributions, stating, "I hope that it means a lot and takes some stress off of parents because baby items are definitely not cheap."

Tammie Schroeder expressed appreciation for the donation, noting its impact on families delivering at Tomah Health. "It was great that they had thought about Women’s Health and the families we care for here at Tomah Health," she remarked. "I was absolutely amazed at the number of donated items by their team and clients. This will allow us to assist a number of the families that come through our department."
