Today, Congressman Derrick Van Orden from Wisconsin's 3rd District offered his perspective on President Trump's accomplishments during the initial 100 days of his current term. Reflecting on the leadership transition, Van Orden expressed confidence in Trump's direction, contrasting it with the Biden administration's previous policies.

Van Orden noted, "Over 77 million Americans and 1.7 million Wisconsinites put their trust in President Trump to get our nation back on the right track after four years of disastrous policy from the Biden administration. In just 100 days, President Trump has delivered on his promises to the American people."

The congressman highlighted measures taken for border security, mentioning the deportation of over 100,000 undocumented individuals. Emphasizing a focus on criminal accountability, he stated, "The first bill President Trump signed into law was the Laken Riley Act to require illegal aliens who commit crimes in the U.S. be detained instead of released back into our communities and put Americans at risk."

Van Orden also addressed the administration's stance on energy policy, asserting a reversal of prior environmental regulations. "He has reopened domestic energy production, rescinding every one of the Biden administration’s job-killing, America-last 'green' environmental policies," he claimed.

On the economic front, he acknowledged efforts to benefit American labor and production sectors. He remarked, "After decades of being taken advantage of by our foreign trade partners, the president is putting America’s workers first and leveling the playing field for our farmers, manufacturers, and producers. Investments are being made, and jobs are returning to the U.S. at record pace."

He further commented on fiscal strategies aimed at reducing government expenditure. Van Orden concluded, "He has saved taxpayers billions by cutting wasteful and fraudulent programs within the federal government and is working to ensure Americans can keep more of their hard earned dollars and provide for their families."

In closing, Van Orden affirmed his support and future collaboration intentions: "I am proud of the work accomplished thus far and look forward to working in Congress to further advance President Trump’s America First Agenda."
