Abbotsford Middle/Senior High School had the highest enrollment among Clark County schools, welcoming 414 students during the 2024-25 academic year, according to a report from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 51.4% identified themselves as boys, and 48.6% as girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, accounting for 85.3% of the Abbotsford Middle/Senior High School's total enrollment.

Among the 21 schools in Clark County, Neillsville Elementary School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 399 students, while Abbotsford Elementary School welcomed 374 students and ranked third in the 2024-25 school year.

Abbotsford Middle/Senior High School is a part of the Abbotsford School District, which roughly covers schools within Clark County with its main office in Abbotsford.

In the previous school year, Abbotsford Elementary School had the highest number of students among Clark County schools.

In 2022, the teacher-to-student ratio was approximately 1:14 in Wisconsin classrooms, compared to the national average of 1:16.

Wisconsin ranks 22nd in the U.S. for public education spending, with an annual expenditure of over $16,500 per pupil, totaling $13.8 billion.
