Arcadia Elementary School had the highest enrollment among Trempealeau County schools, welcoming 531 students during the 2024-25 academic year, according to a report from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 51% identified themselves as boys, and 49% as girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were Hispanic, accounting for 86.1% of the Arcadia Elementary School's total enrollment.

Among the 21 schools in Trempealeau County, Whitehall Memorial Elementary School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 439 students, while Arcadia High School welcomed 413 students and ranked third in the 2024-25 school year.

Arcadia Elementary School is a part of the Arcadia School District, which roughly covers schools within Trempealeau County with its main office in Arcadia.

In the previous school year, Arcadia Elementary School also had the highest number of students among Trempealeau County schools.

In 2022, the teacher-to-student ratio was approximately 1:14 in Wisconsin classrooms, compared to the national average of 1:16.

Wisconsin ranks 22nd in the U.S. for public education spending, with an annual expenditure of over $16,500 per pupil, totaling $13.8 billion.
