Money magazine has recognized Viterbo University as one of the Best Colleges in America for 2025. This annual list highlights top educational values across the nation, considering factors such as graduation rates, cost of attendance, financial aid, and alumni salaries.

The list aims to guide families in choosing where to invest their tuition dollars. Out of over 2,400 four-year institutions in the United States, 732 universities were selected for Money's list. These schools are ranked based on 25 factors within three categories: quality of education (30 percent), affordability (40 percent), and outcomes (30 percent). Viterbo University achieved a rating of four out of five stars.

"Viterbo’s strength lies in our ability to provide students with an education that is personal, mission-driven, and focused on readiness for their next chapter," stated Erin Edlund, vice president for marketing, communications, and enrollment at Viterbo University. "We offer an affordable private college experience rooted in our Catholic, Franciscan values and a culture of care that makes a lasting difference in students’ lives. Being named one of America’s Best Colleges by Money affirms what our students, families, and alumni already know—Viterbo prepares graduates to succeed in achieving their goals and contribute meaningfully to their communities."
