The La Crosse Police Department is continuing its investigation into the death of Eliotte Heinz. Preliminary autopsy results suggest no criminal conduct was involved. However, final autopsy results are expected to take several months.
The investigation remains open. The department expressed gratitude to various organizations and individuals who contributed to the search efforts.
