On July 29, the press office stated: "The One, Big, Beautiful Bill is a huge win for Wisconsinites. Families, seniors, business owners, and folks working overtime all benefit from the OBBB tax cuts, ensuring they are keeping more of their hard-earned dollars."

The following day, the office reported a legislative milestone: "President Trump has signed Rep. Van Orden's VA Home Loan Program Reform Act into law! This bill will provide critical relief to veterans who have fallen on hard times, helping them stay in their homes and avoid foreclosure. Derrick Van Orden assumed office in January 2023 after defeating Brad Pfaff in the 2022 general election by a margin of approximately four percentage points. He succeeded Ron Kind as representative of Wisconsin’s 3rd congressional district. In the subsequent 2024 general election, Van Orden secured re-election against Rebecca Cooke with just over half the vote.
