The Righteous Brothers will bring their "Lovin’ Feelin’ Farewell Tour" to the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre on Friday, Aug. 22 at 7:30 p.m. The event will feature a selection of the group’s most well-known songs, including “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’,” “Unchained Melody,” “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” “Soul and Inspiration,” “Ebb Tide,” and “Rock and Roll Heaven.”
Original member Bill Medley has performed for more than six decades and has received several major awards during his career, including a Grammy, an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and an American Music Award. He was also part of the induction of The Righteous Brothers into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Following Bobby Hatfield’s death in 2003, Medley continued performing after encouragement from fans. He selected Bucky Heard as his new partner for live performances.
“No one could ever take Bobby’s place, but when I caught Bucky Heard’s show—I found the right guy to help me recreate the magic,” Medley said. “He fits the Rightegous Brothers live performance show perfectly.”
Bucky Heard is recognized for his vocal abilities and has been named “Male Vocalist of the Year” by various entertainment publications.
“Performing with Bill Medley is like getting your PhD in show business,” Heard said. “He is more than a legend; he puts everything into every performance, and really understands how to connect with an audience.”
