75 percent of applicants to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, 90 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 63 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in River Falls enrolled 6,135 students in fall 2018, including 5,726 in undergraduate and 409 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

48 percent of undergraduates are residents of Wisconsin, and 52 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (87 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (4 percent).

The school admitted 75 percent of the 3,209 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 55 percent enrolled.
