Zz

City of Eau Claire issued the following announcement.

Carson Park Master Plan Open House

Date:12/17/2020 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

The City of Eau Claire Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Division invites the public to an online Open House on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for a first look at the newly developed Conceptual Master Plan for Carson Park.  The Master Plan will be used to guide decision-making and development of the park in order to meet the social and recreational needs of Eau Claire now and for years to come.

The Open House will be led by Community Services staff and the project designer and will include conceptual drawings based on input from the community and park users gathered through outreach and survey results.  We hope that the public will continue to be a part of the process by attending the open house, which will include the opportunity to ask questions and share feedback.

The Open House will be conducted online via Zoom, is limited to 500 participants, and registration is required.  People can pre-register using the link below and following the instructions that will be emailed to them by Zoom.  Instructions for joining by phone (audio only) are included in the email you receive after registering.  Day-of registration will be available.

Register for the Open House here: https://tinyurl.com/CarsonParkPIM

Individuals unable to attend the Open House or who wish to share additional comments may call 715-839-4649 or email the Community Services Department at CommunityServices@EauClaireWI.gov and should include Carson Park Master Plan in the subject line.
