Western Technical College issued the following announcement January 20.
For the first time, Western Technical College will be offering select student services from 9:00 a.m.-noon on the first Saturday of each month at Western’s Welcome Center, 716 Badger St., La Crosse.
Beginning Saturday, Feb. 5, Welcome Center staff will be able to assist individuals with career/program exploration, application assistance, questions regarding Financial Aid, submitting important documentation, and help with the FAFSA application process. Western offices will remain closed on July 2 and Oct. 1.
“We know accessing these resources can be hard for adults with other responsibilities, such as work and daycare,” said Western President Roger Stanford. “We hope these additional hours will break down further barriers for our students to access these important resources.”
