Western Technical College, along with the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS), awarded the WTCS Futuremaker Partner Award to LAB Midwest, a regional distributor of curriculum, training equipment, and eLearning for educational institutions.
The Futuremaker Partner Award is presented four times a year by the WTCS Board to recognize the unique, long-standing connections between the state’s employers and local technical colleges. Lab Midwest is being honored for providing Western training, equipment, and expertise to a number of industrial programs on campus.
“We are thrilled to award LAB Midwest with the WTCS Futuremaker Partner Award,” said Rodney Pasch, WTCs Board President. “LAB Midwest’s continuous commitment to STEM and career and technical education is welcome not only to Western Technical College, but to the entire Wisconsin Technical College System.”
“The ability to partner with visionary leaders at LAB Midwest allows Western to be on the cutting edge of advancements in the manufacturing industry,” said Western President Roger Stanford. “The generosity of the organization gives our students and industry partners access to resources that position them for success in a rapidly changing marketplace.”
LAB Midwest was recently presented the award at the WTCS Board Meeting in La Crosse on July 12, 2022. To learn more information on Western’s programs or services, call 608.785.9200 or visit www.westerntc.edu.
