On Monday, March 3, former River Falls High School standout Kyle Thompson’s college team lost in an NCAA Division III baseball game

On Monday, March 3, former River Falls High School standout Kyle Thompson’s current college team, the Wartburg Knights, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Benedictine Eagles.

The game took place at Northeast Regional Park. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Knights’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 9 a.m. at Northeast Regional Park against Saint Mary's Cardinals.
