The Tomah VA Medical Center is set to host a Women Veterans Event on July 18, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Women's Health Center in building 411. This event aims to support the growing number of women veterans in the United States, who are expected to comprise 18% of all veterans by 2040.

Women veterans, caregivers, and family members are invited to attend the event, which will feature demonstrations and a tour of the facility. Attendees will also be treated to a grilled lunch. The event seeks to inform participants about the services available to women veterans through the VA health system.

Organizers encourage those interested in attending to RSVP by July 3, 2025. To do so, contact Tomah VA’s Women Veterans Program Manager at either 608-372-3971 or 1-800-872-8662, ext. 66375.

Amanda Batchko, Tomah VA Public Affairs Specialist, can be reached for further information at extension 64201 via the same phone numbers.
