There were 264 students enrolled in Alma School District in the 2024-25 school year, 7.8% more than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 51.5% identified themselves as girls, 48.5% as boys.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 95.5% of the Alma School District total enrollment.

Alma School District covers two schools within Buffalo County, with its main office in Alma.

Among the two schools in the district, Alma Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 184 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin ranks 22nd in the U.S. for public education spending, with an annual expenditure of over $16,500 per pupil, totaling $13.8 billion per year.
