There were 665 students enrolled in Bangor School District in the 2024-25 school year, 2.6% more than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 88.7% of the Bangor School District total enrollment.

Bangor School District covers two schools within La Crosse County, with its main office in Bangor.

Among the two schools in the district, Bangor Middle/High School recorded the highest enrollment of 352 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin ranks 22nd in the U.S. for public education spending, with an annual expenditure of over $16,500 per pupil, totaling $13.8 billion per year.
