There were 760 students enrolled in Whitehall School District in the 2024-25 school year, 0.3% more than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 50.3% identified themselves as girls, 49.7% as boys.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 75.9% of the Whitehall School District total enrollment.

Whitehall School District covers two schools within Trempealeau County, with its main office in Whitehall.

Among the two schools in the district, Whitehall Memorial Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 439 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin ranks 22nd in the U.S. for public education spending, with an annual expenditure of over $16,500 per pupil, totaling $13.8 billion per year.
