Water Quality Reports for the calendar year 2024 have been completed and were sent to City of La Crosse water consumers on June 27, 2025. This annual report complies with federal and state drinking water rules, which require each water utility system to provide water quality information to customers each year.

The Water Quality Report describes the water supply system and provides detailed information on what has been detected in the water. Unless otherwise noted, results are based on tests conducted in 2024. "We are pleased to report that we continue to supply high-quality drinking water that consistently meets or exceeds the standards set by both federal and state authorities, ensuring that it is safe for our community."

The report, which is posted on the Water Utility website, includes a Water Supply Data Table summarizing current results of water quality testing. The Table compares water quality in La Crosse with applicable maximum contaminant levels (MCLs) established by the U.S. EPA.

City residents and water consumers are encouraged to review the information contained in the 2024 Water Quality Report. If you have any questions, you may call Derek Greebon, Water Superintendent at (608) 789-7385 or Tina Erickson, Utilities Finance & Compliance Manager at (608) 789-7520.
