A seven-part lecture series titled "The Search for Meaning" will begin at Viterbo University on Monday, Sept. 8. The series will be led by Rick Kyte, who is the Endowed Professor of Ethics at the university. Lectures will take place every other Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. in room 134 of the Reinhart Center.

The series aims to address questions about what constitutes a meaningful life and how individuals can distinguish between what is important and what is trivial. According to Kyte, "Life today provides countless opportunities for distraction but few opportunities for adding depth to our lives. This lecture series is an opportunity for exploring the key ideas that have added depth to human life for centuries."

Topics covered in the lectures include Truth, The Good, Love, The Soul, Beauty, Justice, and Nature. All sessions are free and open to the public.
