The River Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau is marking Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Month this September, following official proclamations from Governor Tony Evers and River Falls Mayor Dan Toland. The recognition emphasizes the Chamber’s role in supporting local businesses and contributing to economic development.

Both state and city leaders have acknowledged the Chamber’s efforts to enhance the quality of life for residents and business owners. “We are deeply grateful for our incredible business members, the supportive River Falls community, and our strong partnership with the City as we celebrate Chamber of Commerce Month. Together, this engagement fuels a thriving and growing community where collaboration creates lasting impact,” said Rosa Magnus, CEO of the River Falls Chamber.

Mayor Toland is scheduled to formally declare September as Chamber of Commerce Month for River Falls at the City Council Meeting on September 9, 2025. This move highlights ongoing cooperation between city officials and the Chamber in advancing local business interests.

Throughout September, the Chamber will host several events and programs to mark the occasion. These include opening applications for Leadership River Falls—a program aimed at developing leadership skills among local business leaders—and hosting networking opportunities such as Chamber Coffee on September 5 at CVTC with Security Financial Bank. Other events include the Bacon Bash Festival on September 19-20 and Downtown Car Cruze on September 21, both organized in partnership with various community groups.

Additionally, the River Falls Chamber is working with Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to promote local initiatives at broader state and national levels.
