The goal is to align the VA with other federal agencies by providing a fair and fiscally responsible solution for veterans who are behind on their mortgage payments.
Before the bill's passage, Rep. Van Orden addressed the House in support of H.R. 1815. He emphasized his role as Chairman of the House Economic Opportunity Subcommittee and his commitment to ensuring that servicemembers and veterans have access to homeownership through this program.
